Google Cloud's 2029 post-quantum readiness goal is a signal, not a suggestion. The blockchain industry must treat it as a forcing function. Every protocol should have a documented post-quantum migration plan โ€” not a whitepaper paragraph, but a code-level specification of how to replace the signature scheme, how to handle backward compatibility, and how to reinitialize the state. This is not a research problem. It is an engineering problem. The tools exist. NIST has standardized the algorithms. Cloud providers are mandating them. The only missing piece is the will to execute.

Precision is the only form of respect. Respect the timeline. Respect the cryptography. The code does not lie, only the whitepaper does. And the whitepaper of most blockchain projects today is silent on quantum migration. That silence is data. And the data says we are not ready.
