And everyone's reading this as a win for Perplexity.

That's the surface read. The scroll-stopping takeaway. But I've been auditing this space since the ICO days, and let me tell you—the real story isn't about who wins AI search. It's about who controls the rails underneath it.

Nvidia isn't buying into Perplexity because they love the product. They're buying into the pipeline.
