The Bitchat Takedown: When Centralized Code Hosting Betrays Decentralized Ideals

No community debate. Just a quiet order to GitHub, and the repositories vanished. This is the story of Bitchat, an open-source messaging app associated with Jack Dorsey, used by protesters during India's internet shutdowns.
